Ink on bamboo sticks and bronze
The artist transcribed famous works of Laozi and Zhuangzi from Chinese thought, Free and Easy Wandering and Discourse on Making All Things Equal, onto copper sheets and bamboo slips. Meanwhile, he copied excerpts from Western intellectual classics — Aristotle’s Metaphysics and verses from Pythagoras’ Golden Verses — in Greek calligraphy.
